Nurture and nature 

Times of testing 

Learning to move forward with guile

This adaption shan’t take a long while. 

Need to be positive 

Need to be humorous 

Need to show love 

Need to rise...,above.

We may not be able to touch

But care is shown in a more holistic way,

Showing love with further kindness 

Never done with any blindness. 

Positives will come from this 

We can’t see it now in the loss of life’s we’ve seen,

Playing our part to flatten the curve 

Let’s do this together, in Gods praise.. we have the nerve.

We...

It’s not about I, it’s about WE

So before I commence this poem

There are factors I need to address,

We will pull through this, and pray fully and learn about from this mess.

We pray for our nurses and doctors

We pray for the volunteers who add to the care

We pray for our loved ones

The people we want to continue to share.

We pray for this chaos to be tidied and instructions obeyed,

We pray for the guidance provided 

And stay in a safe place,

We need to be an example during this trial

As this may last for a quite a while.

We, not I, need to continue to love

We need to pray for those in need

We pray for this moment to soon pass

Praying for strength, love and guile 

The movement to serve God will continue for quite a while. 

A day at a time

You are doing well

Especially during this time of change 

We look out for each other 

At times we look to rearrange.

Listen to the guidelines set 

Thank the health care, which has been infected

Let’s be diligent during this transition

Coming through these times of fruition.

A serious time to lean to faith

A serious time to support each at this time of need,

Leading towards a new beginning 

But there will be times of sadness 

when we eventually reach that final time of gladness. 

Love, kindness and respected is needed

We look towards a new start when this is over

Let’s pray and hold each other together 

There is always a storm that tests any tether.

 

A ‘Now’ Prayer....

Dear Lord

Thank you for your protection during this time, 

And praying for those suffering 

Holding them in your open arms 

This derivative shan’t cause any more harms. 

I pray for my enemies 

I pray for them to have peace,

I pray for a cure to soon be found,

God you keep us together 

Humbleness fights back this viral weather.

Never encountered such challenging times right now

Perhaps a wake up call for most,

Dear Lord, our Father you shall defeat this devil  who surrounds,

Therefore Father, we know it’s YOU are keeping our feet firmly on the ground.

A prayer to defeat the negative 

A prayer to have our spirits to reach a new high,

Strength with Love 

In unison, this infection shall be nudged. 

Helping each other... a simple gift

You can say the same thing, time and time again....

Learning to move forward is can sometimes be the hardest thing to do,

God willing and eternal hope 

these are times we need each other most. 

Listening to advice for your own protection 

Staying positive by praying for others at this time of need,

This is an effort 

Which none of us can concede.

To be there for someone 

Is a massive plus during this predicted test,

No one listened and this is where we are at...

Helping each other, it’s as simple as that.

Here’s my hand, even if you can’t touch

Just accept our help to reach

Together we shall overcome 

Let us all practice what we preach.

No one anticipated this madness arriving this way.

Understand the logic 

Understand the reason,

This isn’t about you only

It about others that need to abide boldly

This is bad enough, don’t let this become something coldly. 

At a time where patience needs to be implied

A time to listen and take heed what has been said,

It’s easy to accept when things go your way,

But you will appreciate the demands this situation tests 

You will surely learn the implications from which you shall confess.

Where’s there is night there shall be day,

Where there is evil, there is a hero to overturn 

Looking forward this is simply temporary from where we shall learn,

Where there is hope there is light

Where there is a bully, there’s an insecurity to fight

Where there’s a virus, there is a cure

Where there is love, you’ll find you will become secure.

Where there is a cloud there is a heaven insight

Where there is a new beginning 

There is a challenge which has might.

Where there is belief, there is a element of joy

Where there are pessimists, the negativity needs to deploy.

Where there is love, that refutes the pain.

Where there are brothers and sisters, we shall hold onto love, which remains.
