Thankful for today

​Thank you as we are here today
Don’t be scared, what’s the worse that can happen?
Sleep and never to wake up? 
Or get run over by a speeding trunk. 

You see, you will never know how it will end?
This isn’t a morbid message, this is the truth of life and death,
I rather have it end with a smile on my face
And be around miserable gits, whose frown that never fades. 

You see life….
And you shall see healing, 
Now, this very instance is all what we have
Our lives can end imminently at the drop of a hat.

You are here today
And that is a present in itself, 
We look to move forward and graitfy what we hold true,
May the Lord be present from this walk we ensue.
