I need a prayer

You feel that moment of decadents  

You feel that feeling of hurt

You feel that anger of burning 

God’s in your heart and it’s forever turning.

Times are challenging

Nothing is straight forward now.

Ruffled with politics and fools thinking they are funny 

It’s seems a long time ago when people were light minded and being a little sunny.

So where has it gone?

To the banks or the corporations thriving for more,

You never know when this feeling shall end, when the head is constantly sore.

We struggle with others

And that leads to ourselves,

I thank the lord for prayer

Family

You are never alone

Family will surround

You can have the most challenging woes

God has it covered, and it’s not just for show.

I never believed in that term…

Then God blessed me fully.

You know how I did it? 

I allowed a person to pray for my broken heart 

Now I have a end goal, and that’s from the start.

Even when I feel I need time for me,

The father in heaven is so knowing of your needs 

His humbleness constantly sews your seeds.

Taking for granted…health

That moment of elation

Burning the candle at both ends 

We say those words “you got to live”

Praying to God.., why I did what I did??

No explanation

Just damaging our bodies each day,

If it’s not in the gym, then it’s when you go out

“Let’s party, party party”… that’s what I am talking about.

There are people incapacitated who provide a better example

Some struggle with a physical, psychological or mental side,

Yet their determination isn’t part of this tide.

It’s not until when something goes wrong

Some of it is our own doing, others is somewhat unexplained 

I just pray for each and everyone of us reflect on this, which we try to sustain.

We try each day

Looking for challenges that come our way;

Learning to move forward and often held back;

There is always a prayer heading in your direction 

We all know life isn’t full of perfection.

Then a ‘law of attraction’ occurs….that we didn’t expect 

Keeping away, not sure where the path of true love will lead

There is a Father in heaven who takes to that place, to intercede.

You may feel you do not deserve a chance

But the Father in heaven feels that you do,

There’s sign of it happening, the Father (if you allow) is inside of you.

A chance is all that it takes,

Second, third, forth….and fifth,

And when wonderful news comes to fruition

A prayer to the Father, that’s my intuition.

It’s start with an idea

Which begins to evolve,

Sometimes having others around you to challenge thinking and making an idea work,

Otherwise you may have the wrong people around, that’s where you keep your feet on the ground.

He then begins to speak,

I am no longer arguing with him, 

I now accept his ways 

The flurry of words which then flow

Then the gift of words you let go.

Days of work embrace

A time to check, hit hard and love.

Hold my hand friend, I can’t imagine the pain inside

But I am prepared to hug you and go on this ride.

Caring is a strength we all need to show,

And then, what the father says you need to do

I bring my pen and paper

I bring a prayer, a pen and a piece of paper 

What would I like from this world that’s so damaged?

Perhaps love tied in a cravat knot

Or a plentiful of humbleness for which we have all at sometime forgot.

However, if you lose yourself with constant wants

Just a humble prayer saying thanks for the food on the table 

And a roof over my head, to make you rested and able.

I write this note asking for pillow to lay my head 

And work hard for God through this spiritual fight,

He’s eyes are looking over me, with energised might.

I love writing this note to the king

There are many notes we all want to ask to rely,

Pray to him at the start of each morning

Nothing will hurt you spiritually through the faith of his calling.

The world needs love…

Not this “he said and they said” remarks,

Judging others by clothes that they wear

As long it follows Gods path, he shall graciously care.

The extremity of humans

Through this current arguing trend,

And the pace of these conversations 

Doesn’t allow a solution to transcend.

People don’t care anymore,

It’s rush, rush and rush again,

They receive an email and immediately respond…

Reactive working derive from emergencies unknown 

Not this argumentative hoax, that isn’t part of the Kings throne.

We are getting tired of this nonsense

Be patient, outraged brokenness is there

Worry about money, especially in a world that does not care.

It’s finding attainment 

That solace we can all capture to rejoice,

As long we try to find a solution, there is always hope through the Father’s humble voice.

Health..

Some of this is inflicted

More often than not contradicted.

A powerful service often swaying due to political public funds 

And challenged by behaviour that often succumbs.

You play your part

Workers, patients and the volunteer who genuinely cares

Is this a time where decisions are made, which are more often unfair.

Contributed by people showing an uncared approached,

As workers may see this as only a pay check, which Is seen as a broach.

God is kind 

And prayers do heal the wounds,

Others making a mockery of the system, and others needing an argument because they have nothing better to do

Why can’t kindness be instilled and good examples set

There is hope for us all, let’s play our part of a NHS reset.

The NHS… The endless story

Your contribution is valuable 

And thoughts behind the public purse pretty intangible.

Working towards a goal forever changing 

So upping the game bit by bit,

Sometimes done at a rigorous pace where sometimes the pace doesn’t fit.

Frontline or back office 

It all contributes towards the same goal.

Programmes of work may not see the front 

So visit the service, saying it pretty blunt.

Work through the angles 

Conflicting sides of the coin.

The NHS is one, not this disparity of teams

If you remember where the bones of the body connect, then the words I’ve just said is easier to perfect.

Morning sun

Smell of a cup of coffee or tea

Blood quickly moving inside your body,

And then exercise starts the day

God looking at us in his living way.

The morning dew

Air, fresh like the wind,

Carpe diem should be said at the beginning, when the eyes begin to open

Loving God is the prize, from once you were in a place most definitely broken.

The sweet taste of love

Starts with God everyday,

If you focus on him for a while 

The enemies attack loses its guile.

You are his creation

I have said this countless times before,

He believes in you that should be enough,

When one goal is achieve you peak and fall

But this hypo feeling…I am definitely not a fan.

I know you didn’t give this to me

I am certainly not privileged in what I have got,

Living with constant monitoring, at the start I would preferred to be shot.

God I am good and I thank you each and every day

You have my best intentions 

But please take this condition away.

The hypos and hypers, finding a balance is such a challenge…

Pancreas discovery

A secretion of insulin we desire 

No more islets releasing the breakdown,

Let’s be determined to find a cure

Be humble with this disease, one thing for certain it’s not a breeze.

Constantly monitor what we have

Testing, calculating, decide and inject 

This is a condition that can’t always be perfect.

I have no privilege with what I got

Contestable words I retort,

Staying with God to find a resolution 

Rather than having a hypo that causes confusion.

I pray endlessly, and I know partner does so as well

This story of diabetes is an intense legacy to pray tell .

19 years of this condition, 

I do wonder how much lord I can take?

Determination with a strong will and prayers to God

That is the anointing I rather prod.

If there are arguments 

Then let them be agreed on amicable terms,

Conflicting priorities shall always be there

Yet the ultimate decision is for God to share.

He doesn’t want us to fall out 

Says things in the heat of an attack,

He is a loving father who rather have your back.

Yes, people will say horrible things 

They are in a place where plethora thinking is in their itinerary,

A blessing would be more humble  and better still customary.

Your skin tone is yours 

For that you should be proud,

History causes an in humanitarian fight

I know you are there

I miss her still 

My Yiayia of course,

I once said “why ?”Yet the father said please don’t feel remorse.

I know you are there

Especially when I pray to God,

I know I am no longer fighting to inflict pain.

The devil is the one I shall battle, and where God shall distain.

I know my Yiayia is near,

I pray endlessly, especially when I miss,

I recall planting on her cheek a loving kiss.

She is in the safest hands,

Pride

Understand your limits

If you don’t… please just think

I am too ‘all or nothing’

Yet something has to give? when you look for something.

Work hard

Vexatious words have never been part of you,

If evil is spread, then the Devil has crawled his hands all on your bed.

He will try to get you through others haste,

Stay with God first, he will be dealt with, with the Father’s face.

If you speak ill of others, what does that do for you?

Lord you are so kind and giving

Insulin

I really hope one day my insulin reproduces

Rather than what we need to face daily, which one day we won’t need or reduces.

Some understand this condition

Some do not,

Arrogance personified for what we often face,

Especially when we have a hypo, others do not incase.

We can’t go at speed

We are balanced and stoic,

We understand our bodies intricacy

And need to evaluate our food and our activity amazingly.

We are brilliant 

Second to none, 

We face an evil battle 

And every day a mini victory has to be won.

For those who don’t understand 

Our pancreas does not release red islets to secrete insulin from our bodies

And if that isn’t balanced, we find ourselves a little shoddy.

So don’t be too hard on yourself 

Type 1s…you are amazing, like no other people around,

Keep on fighting the battle to find a cure 

Over 100 years ago, it was a death sentence, that’s for sure.

Nasty words relayed

Time for a prayer, for the devil is to be slayed.

Feelings hurt

Pride in the mix,

Damaged limitations 

Control freaks we all need to deal

Wake up to God

Say a loving prayer,

Do not be ashamed of your weakness

Your positivity is exuberant, uplifting and strong

which is achieved by a belief of content.

Light minded

It’s difficult these days to be light-minded

Looking towards a heart that’s balanced and kind

The blessing from somewhere we all need to find.

I prayed to God; and he does answer my woes 

Yet others can trip you up, wanting you to fail,

God is so kind, he takes away the fear

Don’t get me wrong? You can become anxious when the devil tricks you in the mist, 

Try to be open and ask for help

Yet Mental health is the fever, where it can start, brokenness in a fight I lost when I was blinded

An impatient soul

Rushes a lot,

Yet he is my ol’ man which I confess, I am little besot.

He is a liar and gruesome cheat

The devils work is to taste his filthy heat.

You are his humble child

A person righteous through him,

You are growing in faith and hitting back at the deviant whim.

If you sniff someone’s pants because you don’t believe, 

Yet sometimes you lose focus as the devils fighting believe for what you think is right

Yet debauchery can only cause a fickle fight.

The “devils a liar” a timid foe

Try to control a child of God, you’ll regret it as the Devils pact us slightly slow.

Feed off

No place to go to  

when someone feeds off your soul,

Draining your spirit when God knows you are true

No one has the right to feed off from what you initially strengthen and ensue.

Pray for the drainers 

And if you have the help from God, do that too

We have all been there

We have all been there

A down trodden spiral 

Rome wasn’t built in a day 

So we move forward, regardless what pulls against, 

We were built to be warriors, an allegiance, a trust worthy defence.

So where do I begin?

I’ve been a patient 

A defenceless soul,

A coward, whose now changed 

An opinionated champion who can deal with conflict that’s tastelessly arranged.

I’ve been a person with mental illness 

Someone who tried to take his life,

I am insulin dependent person with diabetes 

And humble servant to God, as I pray others read this.

I pray for you and I 

I stay stoic but sometimes do cry,

I love with all my heart

As the poet feels the pain, where others do not know where to start..

I love you despite how you feel towards me

I am a lover of God, through the struggles I’ve faced 

So shine and pray to him

Repenting is a release, rather that than to be a contraband.

“God is with you. Repent and it shall be shown…”

 But the Father in heaven prevents this from getting worse.

Nurturing care 

The NHS is a massive system, we can no longer impair.

Show your value

Show what you bring to the table,

Show us what you can do for a patient, which one day maybe you

There is hope with this focus… we all imbue,

Be kind to you

Don’t hurt the focus, which has brought value and care

There is a message we all need to comprehend, and that is all of us to share.

Sharing our knowledge

Never give up the NHS fight,

As long there is strong leadership and desire

The health service shall never lose itself in the mire.

In a consumerist society

Which could often lead to recover in a transient of sobriety.

What does that mean?

Partying to access…from where you eventually lose focus of

This world has already lost its common sense and made us a little soft.

Learning to pray and moving with grace

The humbleness in strength shall bring out your best, from your inner most.

Need to drink to have fun?

Or say a prayer to wish others well?

A gathering isn’t about calling others a ‘bitch’

And that laughter has turned politics upside down and on its head

We are all quick to judge

The pump decides to stop 

Sugar level terribly high

I can decide to worry, or decide to try.

The insulin pump makes a constant “beep”

I am in the gym but waters craving to get out 

I need to keep struggling to get through

And then there is life I want to ensue.

People will try to tell me what I already know

Do they live with it? It’s not like a cold 

It’s something so intricate, where you have to grow.

You become your own doctor, nurse and patient in one

And if you can help others on this diabetes journey like mine?

Judge

“We all judge”.. well that’s what most people say

Look at yourself first, then speak away.

Talking about others in this toxic vibe

I need to take heed from what I’ve said,

Judgement can cause anger, those emotionally unconnected..  are never fed.

Judgement, only faith most high has that right

I dislike speaking ill of others, I am no parasite.

So where is the joy and kindness reached,

A level of anger does not belong here 

Yet feeling the faith has everything to fear.

Learn to love thy neighbour

Yes, others have done bad

But bad news is all that we see and hear these days,

Harmony is often zero 

Escalation is so much the trend

There is no derivative to learn,

Pray for others 

And avoid conflicting fates,

Arguments are healthy to a degree

Sometimes words are yelled out for no reason at all

It’s enviable human life shall hear it’s humble call.

Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself 

A simple way to live your life, 

anger doesn’t mix with anger….

The toxicity from those discussions needs repentance in itself

Diabetes love

So easy to feel down

Analysing, second by second and minute by minute

You know you have to be totally with it.

 Calculating carbs

Sugar alcohol too

There’s so much progress made

Yet you can’t second guess carbs, diminish that thought which simply fades.

And there are those around you, whose empathy lacks

Yet you keep organising, getting your systems to work

Otherwise a hypo shall make you go a little mad

Yet it’s amazing when you are fathoming out, and avoid this to make you sad.

We all have conditions to manage 

Yet this type 1 diabetes is a constant try,

Pumps, pens, fast and slow acting insulin to keep you alive

Praise the lord, as one day there shall be a cure…. which shall feel a lottery prize.

When you smile

Smile.., It captures an essence of hope

Then others look at the other word to say that we all do  the sad thing too..

Preferences to be nice and raise a grin is the level we prefer ensue.

I can’t be bothered talking negatively to others 

I have in the past, but I didn’t like me when I did..

Angling negativity on someone who is down

Is pointless despite the rage and the frown.

In a world which has become harder

A place which once beautifully enjoyed,

Now we have the art of machinery and a level of patience, which is often deployed.

An example of patience and God’s love which takes us there 

Blaming does not solve, because the anger is pointless to share..

If you see the world as negative, and say you are realistic

Then you are altruistic and it never helps being that pessimistic.

If only I was told this when I was young

The speed of today isn’t at all fun.

Efficiency gives you a rush

Being methodical is the conciseness of balance

Rome was not built in a day, and if it was? It was through imbalance..

Learn the art of work, rest and  play

Aspire to the heavens, that you shall stay.

If only I was told this when I was young 

My head wouldn’t be full of speed and needing to be liked,

God is the one I need to be close

And the angels around me from which he hosts.

Peace is needed 

No anxiousness needs to stay

That’s why we live in a corrupt world , for what isn’t at all okay.

It may rub off onto you,

If you take your time with the Father, from there you have a clue.

The older you get, the bolder you become

God repairs the broken hearted, and then we all become one.

Hurting but knowing there’s nothing wrong with ageing

We look to God for hope when things become weak 

You start getting strong with exercise and prayer

He is a father that is anywhere.

Bold and old

Never fold, when the latter occurs

The last 40 years could have been a struggle 

Yet praying to God through a maturing age

Means you are no longer shy when you fly on that stage.

Finished at the gym

The blood is pumped,

Mindful to stay calm

But the devil has a cunning charm.

I need God’s peace

It’s the only thing that keeps me alive,

I’ve said this countless times, from where I do not hide.

Feeling a little light-headed 

Yet that workout did make me feel shredded.

Do not give up

God will whisper that in your ear,

I am as hard as a sickle 

And the hammer that hits through,

Yet I am so tearful; yet this poetic therapy is the clue.

You learn to move forward 

You do what is right,

Yet sometimes you are misunderstood, and what does that lead onto? Yes, A fight…

My tears show sadness 

But God is there

My exercise contains me

My prayers to the Father retains me.

I wipe my tears 

I am so fragile within,

Despite how strong I physically am

I know praying to the Father is my nuts and bolts

Who would have thought?

Who would have thought our phones where our lives?

And that data and internet was considered life and death

And that without them you are actually taking away our breath?

We loved to laugh without being on the table with our phones 

We enjoyed monopoly, yazee and buckeroo 

And we needed a little more skill to capture the clue..

There was books, pens and paper

And we enjoyed our star wars , along with the light sabre.

We interacted without media 

Even though that’s easy for us now to connect,

Yet it’s our time with God we need to perfect. 

It’s a shame the current generation have not experienced what we have tasted,

Not their fault, as they weren’t born then, it was us….

I was told off  today

You provided me hope and saved so many who thought they had lost,

You gave us your son who paid the ultimate cost.

My partner, soul mate told me off…

And rightly so…

It takes time to see

There’s no peace with speed

But complacency is a partial need,

Focus on a smile 

Look at the positives, even if they take a while.

Especially those who indirectly manipulate, thinking that behaviour is okay.

Exercise is healthy

Drinking can lead to a state unhealthy,

They say “you need to live”

I prefer training that bit harder, that’s what I wish to give.

Yes both produce the same chemicals, to give you a lift

An easy option is no maintaining

Where exercise can be sustaining.

 

Think about it..???

If you don’t, then clearly the body and mind you look to harm

That’s not the deal, start lightly, then the rest shall provide a charm.

Pray with all your love when training

God will provide you belief, when containing.

Give it your all, the flow shall appear

All the elements work

Praying while working out

Then having a coffee, that’s worth a shout.

They both impact the body

But praying is key,

Arguments

Arguments can be healthy 

Arguments can be meek,

Arguments can take you too the edge where nonsensical is often leaked.

Arguments can be cruel

They cause a cynical mind,

A debate can be healthy 

Yet turning others against 

Merely through differences, causes a withholding defence
