Determined by faith

You are wondered 

You are embraced

Yes you.. you.. simple prevalent words

Looking towards the goodness you bring,  nothing deturd.

Believe

Prayers and enjoy this road,

You are humbled, held and ultimately loved.

Yes you, you the brilliant soul loved by the Father

No more anger, no more uncertain ‘rather’.

I embrace this time

I embrace my time with you,

Pray, pray and pray some more

The glory of God were forever more.

The Faith is blind 

But love is captured,

Work that out? 

Shouldn’t make sense 

My love for us all couldn’t be anymore in-dense.

Time…

It’s time with God that is gentle

It’s time with God you receive your peace,

It’s time with the prayer you start, which inspires

And everything else the Lord desires.

Be kind to you

Avoid the anger, those are words to me as well as you,

I need to focus on you Lord, yes you

Live in hope Lord, that’s my kind of glue.

Avoid controlling people

The suffocation they give.. they need abundance of prayer,

And half of life’s arguments are not worth it

Yet people like to “throw it out there”, thinking it is wit.

God, thank you for my life

God thank you for loving us so much,

The world without you is hard to bear

As long there is humility, there is so much good to share.

Talking Diabetes

I had a chat with someone the other day

Talking about blood sugars which need to keep at bay,

Someone said not try to be too obsessive;

so I replied when you have  type 1 I need to be very close

It’s a very analytical condition that I rather not boast.

Calculating before eating 

That’s with carbs, of course

Learning to balance life as well

Through the challenges of a discourse.

Yet you find a way

You learn what your body can do,

People you need to remove yourself from 

especially when you look to find a hidden clue.

The art is to discover the red blood cells 

Which squeezes the insulin out,

When that evaporates, then you have a challenge to face…

God bless you at this time…  and this place.

Significant boost

What you do supports the health outcome

Negotiation to ensure the right system for patients that is done.

You use the skill of haggling

Amidst in the health fight,

Looking after those who are patients or those who may one be

The eyes are no longer blind from where the conversations we see.

You do a valuable service

And sometimes the job just needs to be done,

Yet the due regulation and process is hard 

and the outcome cannot be barred.

You do yourself proud

You do great on what you aim to achieve,

You have Faith in your outcome 

Where patients and tax payers humbly believe.

My diabetes journey

It’s been years since I received this condition

Learning to understand my body with plenty other addition.

Injecting four or five times a day

As I pray to God please for these hypos go away,

Not wanting to rely on needles or even a pump

Gauging food and let my belly feel a bump.

Yet I stay strong and healthy because of this condition

Talking to others and educating myself 

Taking a degree in dietetics which made me learn lots too,

Learning to move forward with a stoic point of view.

A view was said not to be obsessed with this condition

But you are calculating all the time 

And dealing with any in-habitation.

So pray for this type 1 to be repaired

As long as God is on my side 

The Devil no longer stared.

Down but never gone…

A man on the train

Laying his sleepy head on the back,

Smelt really awful, as it was hard to breathe

As the stench hit the back of our noses, sad to evidently believe.

He woke up

And started to swear,

Aggression pouring from his mouth!

Clearly a man in a clear struggle

Prayers heading in his direction, poor man was in a muddle.

The fact this can happen to anyone

You or me in fact,

Yet others cast aspersions 

A struggle and a diversion.

I didn’t give him a penny or even a bit to eat,

His aggression was there

There was the holy spirit openly there.

I wanted to help, but what could I do,

The ran off the rain as I pray my answers gave him a positive clue

Before I found God

Before I found God

I found it hard to accept,

Difficult times laid ahead

I wanted the world to end in my head.

Must confess, that’s a distant memory now

I prefer to show love and bundles of care,

aridity off negativity I can be more open to share.

I can have my lows

And believe me. before I did,

Now more humble in my Faith

The sadness learns how to hid.

I love you

I care

Saw a homeless guy this morning,

Who smelt and angry with the world

I prayed with all my heart for his protection 

I know prayers will help in anyones detection.

“A homeless guy on the train, my prayers were a comfort to me.. as I wished him well🙏🏽❤️“
