A new month

Bless this month

Bless this life,

Stay close to the Father

Avoid vexatious strife.

The world is going through change

Hostility is so very much there,

We have lost focus, we have lost our sight

But the battle has just begun, God’s has got this fight.

You can’t lose if you pray,

Close to the Father, you’ll shall be okay.

Yet prayer is required

Not from one, two or a group

He wants us all to follow him, in an almighty swoop,

Stay and believe

It’s free and humbly posed, 

remember his son died for us, from where he sacrificed and rose.

Reminiscing.. sometimes missing

We often used paper and pen

The only phone we used was the one which buttons were pushed, or dialled in a circle, 

And we had fragrances in a sweet smelling myrtle.

We had Rocky 3, and Rambo

And Conan the Barbarian 

And the music of Status Quo

And other sounds which were opposite from anything  egalitarian.

We had ‘Kim Wilde’

‘Go West’ and ‘Tears for fears’

And there was Donna and Barbara who sang that song “no more tears”.

We played cards and spoke

And didn’t need to text, 

We have lost our focus slightly and conversation is type faced in that context.

We laughed until we cried

And yes, we faced ignorance… without the bliss,

There was the group called “musical youth” the sweet kids you couldn’t have missed.

We played pat ball and marbles 

And eyes were away from any phone,

We now live in utterly different times 

Especially from these words that I’ve just shown.

Both sides

If you pray 

You can let the anger out…

If you hold a grudge; you lose focus with hate

So anger is your preference, along with an unnecessary debate?

You are angry with God? but he loves you lots

But if you look at the negatives, you’ll feel right at home where God is placed?

Not sure if the toxic is logical, otherwise… haste?

So you prefer faith in yourself without a prayer for others,

Sorry if you’ve been angered by a dismal wrath

God’s humbleness is the most uplifting  path.

You are very defeated 

Not sure where to turn, 

As long there is Faith 

Then there’s a moment for all of us to discern.

Benefit of hindsight

The past can be reflective and daunting at the same time

Looking at positive energies and filling our plentiful cup

Looking at the aspiration, to never give up.

You are here to try 

Never give in, 

Despite taxing foes that do not believe in the Father,

You are encountered with never ending love

A love so encouraging 

And furthermore nourishing.

You may receive negative foes who say things like: “you’ve made your bed” or “if you done it like this?”

Benefit of hindsight often evades 

I rather move forward and ignore those with this point of view 

Humbleness personification

Faith is my hope of liberation.

 

Learning a new skill is never too late

Humbleness in God, is an elevation in state.

If only we look at the positive and treat the negatives with a constructive view

May humbleness stay inside, 

And positives come from the Father’s abide.

Fight or flight

Waking up and saying a prayer 

Something kind to someone who’s there,

Yes it’s the father.. you can’t say it’s not

He loves you tremendously, and hasn’t forgot.

His love is kind

And unchains what is binds,

Start the day exercising and praying

A solid ingredient for staying.

Love is kindness

Strength comes with a heart of God,

Vexatious believing 

Means there’s no receiving.

Carp dieme, seize the day

Once that prayer hits your soul

The day ahead shines eternally, no more plummeting into that deceptive hole.

Mondays Prayer

Dear lord father

Thank you for the sir that I breathe,

Thank you for accepting me, From when once I didn’t believe.

Thank you for your mercy as well as your grace

Pray for my friends, families and those who call me their foe 

Like a boxing match you guide me to go toe to toe. 

Thank you for the smile that lights up my face 

And thank you for those who care for me, during your perfect timing; from once I wanted to erase.

Thank you for your glory

Which has been brought down from the son who took on man,

And that this week ahead, is a plot for all to come towards the son of man.

Relief

I was tired 

Fighting and losing a fight not for me to win,

The father in heaven is the perennial son who has brought this fight to win.

If you are hungry, then pray

He has the answers; his win shall lead you there

And the humbleness of hope shall bring you to care.

I love you father 

You took me to a place I couldn’t see,

But I believe in you enormously, a place I rather be.

The day arrived, I allowed a brother to pray

He showed me where the father was going 

Await as my time was coming, as well as growing.
