Losing Focus

Looking at balance

rather than your talent.

we sometimes ask, what can we contribute towards life, 

hope its all good... and not un-needed strife...

We look to do our best

and look to see what is good within,

A sceptical place is sometimes due to view,

and sometimes we are looking for a clue.

We should aim not to lose focus

to capturing maturity within,

love thyself and learn to be honest and true,

no need to cry... and no need for a clue....

I love you and I love me to want to love you,

be kind to your dreams, goals and aims

and love the life, despite the challenges you may need to face.

We can't always make this world a better place.

Life… Waiting & Time

Time is of the essence

And yet sometimes it is seen as a concept,

Shall I meet you at this time?

Or will the stress of time play a significant part,

You never know as this is how I feel

This is what matters in the moments that are surreal.

I am not too keen on time

Yet sometimes it has its worth,

If a critical life-saving situation we bend to curb

As the stress can sometimes disturb.

If I come across as proving a point

Then I am not out to teach what is evident in me,

I try to put perspective in place

From the temperament that is prevalent for all to see.

I finish this verse by saying this…

Step back and think of time.

Yes, it is a precious element we face

As the time we are born we discover the finite time we are here.

So learn to balance time for what’s important in life…

No drama.. just what we entice…..

*Perspective is the key… try not to lose focus, yet this is easily done. Try to learn that this is your life, and others don’t agree, then leave them be.. and live your life.

We Try.........

Try....

All we can do is try... 

And sometimes our best is not good enough, 

yet when you learn from the near miss

ensure you regain your composure to capture victory

where you are close to... kiss!!!

Sometimes looking for love and trying as we do 

the person you are courting might sadly not be for you..

Yet we attempt to be positive

as some of these words can come across dim.

Yet the art is to persevere and do your best

and learning to come through the test. 

Capture the moment

and focus the chance when you aim to try,

Look to full fill your dreams 

and refrain any attempts to cry....

I try to focus on the good

despite the difficulties we all look to distil 

may your attempts turn successful

and may your dreams become true....

At the end of the day.... We are all looking for a clue.

When Love is a test….. Poetry

Am I being soppy

Or am I being obscure,

Learning to regain focus from a decision made,

My mind refuses to fade.

Yet I am on this quest

And heaven knows where this will take me,

Shall I become so blind

Or shall I be ready to see.

I love you…

I never stopped.

Yes, I am a typical a man,

I keep quiet and work out my plan

Yet this is love

Not a battlefield… or acting like an alpha man.

I am misunderstood

I am called many things that I don’t think relate to me.

A way of thinking a system through

and resolving an awkward situation which may arise.

Learning to move forward and forever to avoid a demise.

Working out a new life, or working out the best way to move forward. Love is a special place in my heart. I yearn to capture the essence to love and enhance.

Title: Gentle return to the weekend

The weekend starts here

Another 5 working days comes to a close..

So what is the plan for the 2 days ahead?

Going to the gym? Domestic chores? Or meeting friends?

The point is that life is precious for those 48 hours we are about the blend..

Life is so short and we spend most of it moaning about work.

At least it brings the pennies in the pocket and keeps us out of causing mischievous stress

Yet, I am a gymoholic who can’t keep still..

Moving, moving and moving as I attempt to keep it real.

Yet, I love the day when peace of mind shall enter the fore

And the time shall be ours… nothing less, nor more.

2 days of rest. Yes, it goes quick yet it’s rest we truly deserve

I reiterate, life is so precious and despite how often we can lose focus

These words shall stand the test of time… nothing less, just sublime.

So be gentle with your thoughts and kind to those who love you.

May the stresses release from your mind

And capture all the good that you find.

Soft words always help the harsh pace of life we all face

Yet, as long there is kindness, this world isn’t such a bad place.

When I feel (and need to pick yourself up)

When I feel low I know I should write,

When I feel great.. I like to be with my mates.

I want the world to share my words

And accept who I am, but right now I am in a place I do not like.

Come on Jason… Get on your bike.

I am tired and frustrated inside.

I do not like the person I fall within,

I am a person who embraces words and wit.

Yet I am yearning for peace of mind in a humble place.

Somewhere, honest, enlightening in a calm way

May I find this place at the end of the day.

I need to love me. And can only be me.

I can cry and I can smile. I just want me to be accepted to be,

If you can’t…… Then sorry, you need to let me be.

I try my best and give it my best shot,

And when I tell the truth as it stands

And people who cannot accept the words that I say.

Leave me alone, I say, lets depart on good terms and leave the heat to sway.

A craving to feel positive

And a need to find this place,

I have to love me first before I can someone else.

We aim to love one and all but most importantly the person within.

I refrain to become resentful

And further more to un-needly sin…

Unconditional unrequited Love

When love holds strong

And power of unrequited love allures to the heart,

The world that we live in captures an essence

Which is true to the body, heart and mind…

So easy to locate… and ever so easy to find.

 

You must be true with feelings

And express a love that has so much depth.

Yet the moment we move forward

Is to open your heart for that special one you find

That person’s soul and that person’s mind.

 

To hold that person

And say those special words…

Is the most expressive feeling to endure

And the most passionate moment to pave the way..

Isn’t that what love is.??? At the end of the day?

 

Timing is the factor when passions run through.

Yet we need to remain calm and embrace what we face with that special soul.

Treat the moments like water…

For example You can never touch the same piece of a river at the same time.

Yet the love for that special person can take an eternity to find…

And with hope, belief, balance and strength we aim to find unrequited love.. Just waiting to be sent
