Overcome

A person riles the soul 

They say it to someone they love,

Words penetrate the heart

Yet the soul shall never part. 

Smile, organise, stay strong and hold yourself true

Qualities of life can become complex 

Do not enter the road where you become vexed.

The world has changed

patience appears to be a dying art,

Everything needs to be done quick 

Yet it’s quality you need to pick. 

Soothe your heart

Bring to the table your happiness through god

Heading towards a higher power 

Shall deflect anything sower x 🙏🏽

Not here to stay

Mental health is not here to stay

Your heart is big and you shall get strong

The challenges you face doesn’t mean you have done wrong.

Some people do not understand 

That’s not entirely their fault,

We are all different 

And come in all shapes and size

None of us warrant a demise.

Love yourself even if it’s hard to do

You are good and kind, this temperament does not stay for long

Your aspirations shall get high

Does not mean you are facing moments to always sigh.

I love you, people do care 

To say “get on with it” is not entirely simple as this is a disease,

You shall overcome and eventually you shall please. 

Stigma

Mental health we all need to manage, 

Nothing wrong when struggling with your mind,

Be still, be humble and learn the next steps to find.

Love yourself even when you can’t 

You can overcome this because you have will and strength

Longing to step up and find that extra length.

Hurting is there

There are services, 

don’t be embarrassed there is always someone to care. 

I struggled once, 

Almost took my own life

Stay still and pray

And with the will to move forward 

The mental health shall go away x

“Hang in there” 

Start of the weekend

Every day faces it’s love and joy

Having fun

Looking towards the sky.. where’s the sun?

The art is to be nice to you

Especially when others are not,

People are looking for a way 

Yet it’s kindness you look to stay.

We all struggle through consistency 

No one can claim perfection

Be still, be humble and capture reflection.

We start the weekend and say the words “I love”

Look to the heavens 

Look towards your heart 

We are all posed with challenges and people throwing hurtful words,

You are better than that 

As I type this poem, that’s where it’s at!! 🙏🏽😉

Warmth In Love

Warmth in love is here

Whatever hits our path 

We shall overcome with Gods wrath x x

We pray for others 

Including ourselves 

Be strong despite words thrown 

Love is the power which all shall be shown.

Embrace this day

Love to my brotherly friend 

Gods almighty love 

Is something we can depend. 

Gods gifts provide a loving touch

Hence the words written here will mean so much.

Health the system

If you think of your body

It can become a creature of habit

A desire to work with great zest

Becoming an individual driven by a serious test..

Keep going on...

And keep fighting fit

Even when your energies are low 

You do have the strength to inspire, and grow.

Paralympians do not stop when odds are against

They keep trying and loving 

Pain they endure is never soothing.

And people try 

It’s the objective from all people around the globe do. 

They believe in their desire 

The human body craves for health yet we must play our part

It all starts with you and the health desires which are smart x 

To worry

Worry for a reason 

There is a purpose for this feeling,

You look to care from what you are dealing.

Hold my hand 

I want to care for you

I will make you laugh 

I will try to avoid you to face any one else’s wrath.

Wrath from others, that is what I mean...

The world is fiesty out there

And no one is doing anything to support the cause

So yes, you are right hold onto that attribute and stem hostilities pause.

Love and worry

As long as balance is instilled in your soul,

The meaning to worry shows that you care

Through everything concerning, love and war shall always be there.
