Trying to focus

Prayers are said through discipline 

It’s a free flowing and a reward

You are praying for you and others, and never untoward.

Prayers are the light 

Prayers are the strength to retain. 

Staying with God daily shall refute you to ever wane.

You are then light to lift others souls

Don’t be a drain, move forward and say “I have arrived”

The Lord and our saviour releases gift for you, as you have done more than ‘simply survive’. 

So as I conclude this message, I want to wish you well

The hope of the Lord inside us, where the spirit inside us can never at all fell.

There’s always a hug

Don’t beat yourself up

Instead destroy it at the gym,

Remember, we all love you… this is from the heart and just not a hymn.

You have people that care for you… and always shall,

Love is there.. as the life you attempted to rid

I just want to say you are a brilliant person.. ain’t that right…. Kid?

We have all messed up

We have all done things we shouldn’t have done,

I too have tried to end it all… 

Knowing that God has better things for us, so we won’t ever again stall. 

Please don’t hurt you again

Don’t my beautiful friend, 

You have so much to live for, as we all do 

hugs shall always be the way forward to imbue

May comfort be in your dreams and ensue.

There is always light

We are often seeing our wrong ways

Now it’s time to compliment yourself and remind yourself: “that I am good”

It’s a reflection of positivity in the way we should all speak, and should.

Do not feel down trodden 

The light is there to fight on,

I love you my friend, despite the breakdown a

 and asking what did go wrong?

You haven’t failed, you have just tried again

People will remind you, but what does that do to the spirit?

Encourage it? Or knock it down?

God has your back, pray….from there you shan’t at all drown. 

I love you my friend

So not ever leave this earth until God’s says,

He has your path waiting and planned 

This is the most humble message anyone can land.

An apology

I say that I am sorry

I mean that from the bottom of my heart,

I hope you can see that in my heart I mean it, as it was inexcusable in what I said

I pondered it over and over again…in my head.

I wish you happiness 

And I do which you many moments of joy,

Like I said, what I said was not at all nice 

But believe me, I am trying to make peace

Love is always there, as these words I do need to release.

We all make mistakes 

As I hope and pray you forgive me for my words and actions,

You will always be someone I love and care for 

I can’t take away, as in my heart you are the one I do adore.

All I can do is pray for your forgiveness 

I have made the first step and continue to do a second and a third 

One thing for certain I am grateful for, is that you have read these solace  blessed filled words.

Italy won the World Cup in Spain

They drew the first three games, then beat Argentina, Brazil, Poland and Germany to achieve imaginable to reign.

Alex Higgins won the world snooker title

He came back from the cusp of defeat to beat ‘Whirlwind White’ in the semi and overcame Reardon to reign supreme

This was a platform of his heroics, were like a poetic dream.

There was the Sinclair c5, the electronic bike to take on a new path

And now the generation of excellence was taking a new dimension, a moment to trance.

Connors beat McEnroe to capture the all England Mens tennis single title,

He won it in five gruelling sets to silence the nay sayers who said he was on his way out

His vigour and determination on the tennis court was followed on from his familiar buoyant chanting shout.

The year was uplifting with many great tracks to embellish popular cultural trend 

As people wore flares, as chatting was the tapestry we all requainted to enthrall our blend.

Dad’s Day

It’s that time again, Dad would have been 82

He wouldn’t made a fuss, as he just wanted to chill

His presence was wonderful, that was my internal thrill. 

He was a diamond

He said it as it is, 

If he didn’t like you would know

He was one of a kind who didn’t do anything slow. 

He was my friend, and the man in-charge,

He wanted a quiet life, but with these erratic Cypriots around he would have my back,

This breed is an acquired taste 

I say that without any haste 

Born in Cyprus and arrived to Hoxton, he said it without sugar coating any words,

He wasn’t into long diction just simply a matter of fact

Happy birthday Dad when that day arrives 

He is still a ‘is’ and for those who knew him, that’s no surprise. 

“Happy birthday Dad… on the 13th November”

Praying for a good week

Lord I pray for light

Lord I pray that I am able to turn the other cheeks through fights.

I pray for my brother and my sister 

Allowing us to walk this godly path that avoids a blister.

Lord I love this life that I currently struggle

Openings awaiting through the challenges which are squash in a muddle.

Lord I pray the days are bright and hopeful

Even if they are dark they are not woeful.

Today I pray for strength 

And keep negativity further at arm’s length,

I pray for those I am not fond of to be okay

And through a powerful prayer their light is able to stay.
