I suppose

I suppose you won’t get on with most

Like marmalade you either like it, or refuse to put it on toast.

We are all so different 

Some accept 

Some do not get,

Some prefer to be prayful, 

accept and then forget.

None of us are perfect

That’s the ultimate truth,

Only Jesus ascended on this earth to find out our faults

And redeem us from our sins, from the passages that we are eventually taught.

I suppose we are held by God’s ultimate reach

And there are times we can look and could possibly teach.

Love is love 

And hope is part of the course,

Learn to be an optimist, that refutes to lure into yourself becoming false.

Despite the fact

Despite the fact we don’t have it all

Does that mean we shall continue to fall?

You may not have lived up to your expectations, but don’t be hard on you

There is always a prayer, and that can elevate the time you shall pursue.

There is hope, despite those words said: ‘oh my god’

And others want to stir gossip in the mist,

I tend to tell them straight, as ‘a life’ is what they truly miss.

You are worthy

Actually gifted with plenty to show,

Pray for what’s to take on the ‘next step’

As none of us can claim to be ever perfect, so therefore shall look to prep.

I just want to be with you

You brought a smile to my face

You contacted others, at a specific time and place.

Yes, we didn’t see eye to eye for the first 20 years

Now you are not here… as my tears are protected by prayers to refute any fears.

You were my friend 

And you did save my life,

You gave me a hug when you knew I was in strife.

You were open minded and formidably astute

And you took no nonsense from others, and could easily give them the boot.

You were my Dad

The best I could have ever asked,

Yes, there were things you didn’t agree from with that I did

As you told me upfront, so therefore contemplated as I may possibly rid.

“Love you Dad…”

Give thanks to Mario

Give thanks to Mario lord

He is kind, humble and funny

He is connective Lord, as his array of behaviour is very sunny.

He is a great friend Lord

As well as a husband and father we all  can see, 

Thank you Lord for this great brother whom I never ever want to flee.

Thank you Lord, Mario is humble and giving

He has been there to protect his and his own family, through the tough times we have all endured living. 

Fill him with calm and wisdom

The world he sees through your eyes, 

And that his prayers towards those he love, shall never be a surprise.

Stressing and then praying

We all look towards a prayer

When things are not going our way.

And we look towards a shining light

And hope that God is within sight.

So how do we get to this place I hear

Well it’s through prayers that we shan’t fear.

So if you stress, please pray

The blindness of faith is here to stay.

Take your time

Don’t stress, when prayer needs to take place

There are moments, we are fearful but ought to face.

There are often times

There’s time for debate 

Which often could lead someone into a state.

The struggles with conflicting opinions

When ultimately you are heading into your own dominion. 

Sometimes your friends are healthy and times they are not

Yes, they are not perfect, and yes sometimes they are the ones you have simply got.

There are times for recovery 

Don’t be too hard on this body of yours,

The mind plays tricks when you stay still

Read a book, learn something new… that’s the drill.

Stay with God and start with a prayer

Your guide is uplifting through that aim

He shall love you unconditionally, through him you shall gain.

The people you connect with

Some people you do

And some you don’t, 

You may find them attractive. It doesn’t mean you will, or won’t. 

I am not asking questions about you 

I am sure you have plenty of your own,

Yet we do challenge the Father, the one in the throne. 

We need peace with ourselves 

By seeking the Father’s help first 

Like a fountain of water, awaiting to be disperse. 

Not all of us are understood 

Don’t always take that wrong, 

Stay with the Holy Spirit, a place we all ought to belong.
