Challenges and tests strongly await

There is another page opening towards this wonderful fate.

No more tears 

Like said in a Donna Summer and Barbara Streisland song,

There are moments when people evolve and need to turn the page

This is your time and this is your stage.

The words of thanks for making us feel cherished, valued are words that are close

This is not a goodbye our dear Keziah

You will make a success whatever ambition you cease

The message from us is that we are almighty pleased.

  

Challenges

Not a perfect world 

Yet we keep trying to support and love,

Humble thoughts of praise 

No, I am not going through a phase.

We hear negative thoughts 

And when there is a belief in faith to chant,

People struggling through hurt and pain 

There is a god that removes the hurtful stain.

Hurt will always surround 

Yet belief through prayer is the positive sound,

Never lose hope when others fire woe

The belief in prayer are the seeds are reaped to sow.

Hold my hand 

God wants us to move closer to him 

That’s the chant we all strive 

As long we believe, there is a new beginning to make us feel so much more alive.

Day at a time

Sometimes pressure hits you 

The balance of stress can become too much,

Yet a simplified approach delivers a faithful touch.

One day at a time 

Simply said than done, 

Yet to believe in which you hope

You can refute from sliding down a rope.

Believe in yourself

Faith all around brings hope to your soul,

There is goodness within

Day at a time, is what each of us can bring.

Capture love 

Hold your hands up high,

There is a god in heaven who believes in you 

From the passage you face without being stuck by glue.

When I first knew

When I was told I had diabetes 

I obviously was very surprised, 

I felt uncertain in many ways 

And the confusion of the aftermath made me feel demised.

Judged by having a hypo or hyper

Yes...these frequent moments of attacks,

My heart often sunk 

Especially when  a hypo persistently stuck.

And yes, there is that thing called life..

And others say “others live with diabetes, what’s your problem!”

You try balancing, insulin, carb counting, diet, temperament and that other thing called life,

Actually with positivity to learning in what we do

Frequently comes with an empathetic clue.

A little regard 

A little concern

A little help shouldn’t go astray 

One thing for certain, Type 1 diabetes we look to beat

As none of us want it to stay. 

Never trusted... until now

The level of love 

Cannot compete with gods hold,

Let him in, you shall start to become bold.

Your upbringing can make you question trust,

Yes , words that are deep,

Gods presence in you is a definite reap..

He speaks to me through poetic verse,

Never a time he has failed my soul

His glory and the beginning 

That’s the time a new kingdom through god is so willing.

The word Trust is a hard thing to accept 

But please never lose that faith in god,

He is your beginning and your end,

An almighty power you shall accept as hope is to mend. 

Change as good as the test

Working through change can be hard when set in your ways 

Don’t needs to be  changed, why fix?

Give me a better problem like a scrumptious twix!

Change is always a challenge 

Yet it’s the sign of the times we need to address,

The mind will think and create a new path

God bless your kingdom, this isn’t a wrath.

You are my friend 

A place I want to get to know,

Changing is adapting a peace of mind 

Kindness through hope and something you shall find.

Love is the angle

Change can be embraced or ignore

Refuting an evolving state 

Is gods will through a spiritual fate. 

“Change is good.....”

In the clouds

Can you blame us when the heads in the clouds 

Looking for a solution where politics is attached 

Trying to come up with an answer, then finding yourself detached.

Removed from life’s pressures 

Trying to make sense when there’s a lot on,

Looking towards a new beginning 

And preventing doubt, which should become forgone. 

Never lose the person you are 

If you are negative, please put that to bed

Easier said than done my saviour
