Sleep today

​Before we go to bed we thank the higher power that we remain here
I am not on borrowed time now, nor would I want anything else to elevate fear.

I am sad I need to leave one day, but think about it..? no more pain.. simply peace
For those who don’t believe in an higher power, just remember ‘he loves you’, those are the truth
Make sure you pray before the days through 
Tomorrow shall arrive with another page for you to seek further clues.

And when that time arrives, there will be no more arguments, 
No more paying bills, 
No more wondering what to do next, 
There is Zion to look forward to, a place of hope and no writing another text.

When tomorrow goes 
The spirit guides you to the place you need to be, 
No more borrowed time, or seeking how to stay
I know peace on earth is humility which gives me hope all shall be okay.

All we want is a chance

​I have made my mistakes
I feel the tide has been against me, 
Blessed to have a Father on our side.. sometimes I feel I am in chains but really I am free.

Time stops for no one
No one, you me or anyone else,
We are trying our best to stay positive, as long as we keep our health.

But in time that will eventually fade
Often or not, we feel we are facing a tirade. 

We are here to work it through
Enter into a project to find peace,
Thank you lord I need a chance to release. 

I want a base, that’s all I ask
I know the UK is struggling right now with places to stay,
But I know by faith.. that I and others shall be okay.

Birthday light (Poem for Anne)

​Birthday blessings to you my dear sister, 
You ascended to this earth through God’s love to imbue,
This birthday message is especially for you.

A mother, 
A grandmother and a wonderful friend, 
Looking to God for humility and prayer
He is your omnipresent… and everywhere. 

Anne, I pray for you on this day
Tomorrow is never promised but gratitude for making it today,
Love in Christ is shall bring you hope, this is encouragement towards you that I relay.

Thank you for doing what you do
God loves you more and more each day,
Thank you for allowing me to write this poem on your behalf, as I know the Father is protecting you…..always.

You are blessing for people like me, 
I know God loves your presence, but he has brought light for you to see. 

This is your time
How long do any of us have left?
I believe in you my friend, and so does the Lord
You are created by him after all
Nothing else to lose and no more facing the fall. 

Have a wonderful day
55 and still alive, 
How apt, but these words are true
Blessings through faith, and all for you to pursue.

You are blessed and highly favoured
You are humbled and you offer hope for all whom you meet,
Even in the days of unknowing, the Father is so pleased for you to surrender and therefore greet. 

Peter, have a blessed day

Into the light

​Into the light
That’s the place to reach,
Live for today, listen to the sermon teach. 

Look to your higher power 
I am not into ‘argument sake stuff’,
I know through the Father I am ‘work in progress’ and simply ‘enough’. 

So pray and let it all leave you 
Don’t suppress, the heart isn’t deceive through pain,
Love your enemies as it’s time to regain. 

Stop rushing and stay still
Time belongs God, and it’s through the spirits way
In the end the Father has the final say.

Gratitude list

​everyday I say these 4 things:
“Thank you God for another day”
“Thank you for the strength you offer, especially when I felt weak when my health struggles to stay.”

“I thank you for allowing me to surrender to you when I thought all appears lost”
I thank you humbly, as your son died on the cross.

“I thank you for teaching me, when I thought I knew it all”
You acknowledge me when I am happy.. and sad, especially when I call.

“Thank you for the air that fills my lungs”
Small mercies not all of us tend to respect, when I am humbled and often succumbed.

I know there are others who are praying and genuinely care.

Love to the clouds and the stars,
Remember those who gave you a chance through the care coming through their hearts.

Today is promises so write a gratitude list down 
You are a child of God after all, so please turn that frown into a grin
Through the blood of the higher power, are you ready to rebirth and win…?
