Waiting

​Waiting…
Patience and anticipating,
Our natural reaction is to want it now immediately,
Impatience is my default, and need to behave obediently.

So I need to learn patience
I haven’t said what you already know,
Praying to my God daily through the lens which he does show.

Our walk is finite,
None of us know how long we have got,
All we are promised is today, those words for me resonate a lot.

I need to be patient 
I need to be kind to me, 
As long I have my God to pray to, I know just for today I am free.
