The desire to stop

​Stopping an addiction is one we often foresee,
Overcoming this struggle is a weight of expectation but you will do it, just wait and see!

Overcoming a situation when the drink and drug takes a hold, 
It has to be a higher power to help you to stop, so go and be bold. 

Life is a balance but we didn’t see it like that, 
We thought we under our own human distinction could stop at the drop of a hat. 

Remember today is the prize as love shall consistently win, 
And if you think love is a soft word, then how over that word overcomes sin?
