Just for today, that is all we have
Just for today we can love and be kind,
Just for today we can speak to our higher power,
Just for today that’s all we are promised to give
Just for today we can show the world how to live.
Just for today the desire is be in the present,
Just for today we can remove our resentments and fears,
And just for today we are able to encourage and cheer.
Just for today I may not say a single word to you,
As we are looking for conversation to bring us spiritual peace,
Isn’t that what should happen? and learn to show this side at the very least ?
Just for today we say we are never alone,
God is omnipresent, isn’t that what he have been taught as as shown?
Just for today we can show appreciation and hope,
And just for today I am promised to walk with God… that’s how I cope….
