Dear lord I remember 40 years ago like yesterday,
those distinct moments when I was a child.
When often I would experiment and go that bit wild.
Dear Lord
I pray for you to stay,
I know you do.. it’s me who tends to stray.
That’s why prayer is important for the heart
It balances our conversations and makes us stay humble, and not cause that manic start.
Today is all I have
Today is all you have,
I know that sounds finite but its the truth.. that’s what I feel,
The power of now is the guide, as ‘moments’ today can become surreal.
