Friday blessings

​It’s a day we thank God that we have made
As we walk this path and aim to find our way,
Don’t look towards tomorrow, as you are only promised today.

Consider others
Say a prayer for them too,
The day is unique as the week comes to a close
At this time we have gifts to use wisely, a light to balance what we chose.

I pray to God we all see the day with a smile,
And that work will always be there, and volunteering is a great opportunity to serve,
Kindness is the aspiration, that’s why we serve.

Pray for kindness and pray for peace,
Don’t bad mouth anyone, that only riles the wolf inside,
Look towards this exceptional day and don’t seek to act wild.
