Humble your heart… today

​Humble your heart
Pray first and let the higher power set,
we are waiting for you to seek and find
Generally until we see the Father you could be blind. 

I won’t throw the word ‘God’ down your throat, 
I just pray for you as peace is what I crave, 
I have always been in a struggle through my own faults which I thought I braved. 

I try to be at peace
I am trying Lord, I really am, 
i know you forgive me but that is struggle
I get myself into a predicament and a muddle. 

I humble my thinking
I humble my way forth, 
I cry and then raise my smile,
I spoke to someone, which I needed to invest time.. that took a while. 

Today I look to a new beginning
The same feeling won’t always appear, 
I need my faith to be instilled in me, as the days ahead I shan’t possess no fear.
