In the rooms (A.A. Poem)

​What do you expect?
Experience, strengths and hopes
You are embarking on a journey looking to see the light,
But put in the work in, that will allow you to delve into a spiritual fight. 

You are worthy to recover, 
Forget what others have said on this path,
Unless you receive encouragement, then show the better example as this won’t delve into anything harsh.

It’s about the big blue book, the words have the ingredients for a new way of living,
It’s about service and realisation of past mistakes which need shifting.

It’s about your higher power 
It’s about the growth which shall give you grounding,
If you stick with the programme, you will have a life beyond your wildest, which is so astonishing.
