Why do we care in A.A.?
Because this disease will kill us;
And if you think you will die of something,
Then avoid going like this,
This is something not worth holding onto, and should prefer to miss.
Why A.A.?
because there is honesty in the rooms,
The elevation, the laughter, and the similarities you see amongst yourselves,
Is more than taking a tablet for cholesterol or anything else.
Why A.A.?
It’s about fellowship and connection,
You won’t get on with anyone, but the 12 steps is the place to start,
It’s about coming to meetings, staying in the rooms,
Even if you have relapsed, we won’t reject you… we shan’t sing that tune.
Why A.A?
It’s because we need to regain focus and look to our hearts,
Yes, it is tough love, a vessel to see a way through,
Keep working the programme, you shall eventually see the results of your efforts…. This humble pursuit.
“God bless for A.A.”

"None of us can stay positive all of the time.... my theory and practical is this, if you pray everyday, be nice to that one person every day (or better still more people), then the world will have that little more love to show and perhaps you will feel better....Anger solves nothing, love creates harmony, encouragement, hope and love..." What about me? I have type 1 diabetes, love the arts and I am a god fearing man (I am sure you can tell)...... I am also on IG type '@jaypoeticsensitivity.
