Leave it to your higher power

When I say leave it to your higher power, 
I am saying a pray and allow God to take charge, 
I know people look at practical solutions, this is rational decision, therefore, do not barge.

I say ‘leave it to God’ I am blessed to take the weight off my feet,
I know I have the problem still, but God is the one we all ought to meet.

Despite the pain, the anger, and the self entitlement and places visited of the past
People saying horrible things which penetrating our souls,
We did the same ‘sometimes’ to them, that’s why forgiveness means to let go.

Resentment is a killer, if you hold that feeling inside of you
We are all trying to do our best, remember the perpetrator needs forgiveness too
Some people don’t hold onto a grudge, therefore let it past
Some do hold onto this illness, so we pray those thoughts won’t come back or even last.

Look to the stars in the sky,
Have a quiet moment, and if necessary… release a sigh.

Be blessed with your good thoughts, 
Wish others well with no ill words are said, 
If you feel you are entitled, then speak to God first rather conjure those negative thoughts which may be inside your head.
