Peace can be promised

You can promise peace
If distance is part of the formula or equation, 
I am not saying be totally removed from people, situations and things, 
It’s just that the chaos of your inner child is not stable, nor does it bring.

You can receive peace in a world when the silence is there through the dark, 
Embrace the silence, and embrace the noise when it does arrive
It depends on your mental health, we all know that doesn’t survive. 

The chaos was once my friend 
But now as i get older, 
I don’t need to hear much noise as we need more balance from our head that’s on our shoulder. 

You will receive peace, 
You can be in silence all of the night when drink and drugs are no longer part of the plan
Stand humbly and move into the light 
Where there is peace, it’s been overcome through the fight.
