You knew

You know when I am sad

You know when I am weak,

You know the time I love you, even I think all is bleak.

I know you are great

Especially when I pray,

I know you are the first and the last, at the time I am in my bed, to lay.

I know you love us 

Despite the anger we release,

We must accept we are sinners 

and that you have tamed the Devil to make us winners.

You held me when others turned me away

You gave me hope through prayers I rely,

I love you Lord

I say that behalf of us all, at the point  we stop believing at the time we can fall.
