Today’s smile

Here I am waking up to God,

I held your hand once, now the finger tips now do need to leave

Crying won’t help, just pray, and then receive.

I walked away

It was only a matter of time,

I close my eyes and I know your spirit is there

More than saying these words, I have always cared.

We all have woes

We all have fights,

We all love you tremendously, that’s God’s sprint to sight.

I smile for you today

Don’t turn it away,

I walk this path with God today

And remember, he does have the final say.
