Despite what you believe,
The journey with faith is more than you can relieve.
Praying for others
and getting persecuted too,
Including the disciples Jesus selected
And later when he was rejected.
No stone goes unturned
No mirror sand blasted or cracked,
We need you Father more than ever, and you haven’t slacked.
You are the first and the last
You humble my heart when I pray, despite success or defeat
I know you are with me, even from the time when I was a deadbeat.
