Treat how you want to be treated..

​this poem is for the recipient, don’t drain the other person,
They have feelings too
But remember the release of tension is the main thing to do.

Serving is rewarding,
And you can take on too much, 
But then again, it’s finding a balance to help to resolve the issue to hand
Balanced minds is the situation we look to stand. 

It’s not about gossip 
It’s about helping others and putting them on the right path, 
Learning to use your gifts and recall the moments when you too struggled to depart.

It’s all about learning 
It’s about turning wrong into right,
You treat how you want to be treated, and try not to be pushed over the edge
This is help which shouldn’t be taken for granted.. words I humbly pledge.

Learning patience

​How can we be patient when we expect others to be patient for us? 
This is a testing balance, one that we ought to trust.

How can we expect to look after our bodies for others to manage our pain?
Yet it’s the delusion of thinking we aren’t able to contain.

How can we be patient when others are struggling with their own attribute where this lacks,
We don’t live in a utopia but clearly this is something that often detracts.

Patience is a working progress 
We manage it bit by bit,
You are only as good as the patience that follows, and that comes from determination and grit.

Simply encourage

​‘Encouragement’ some people are unable to accept this remark,
You are on this earth for so long, therefore, encourage others on this road they shall embark.

It doesn’t have to be much
It’s God’s timing, the worth in the spirits touch. 

Stop saying “poor me”
You need a vessel to lean onto, that’s where your higher power shall be. 

So be encouraging 
And that shall be for yourself also nourishing,
The light of God shall prevail,
These words are for you to listen to, and this story called ‘life’, that’s what we shall inhale.

Balance in Chat

​It’s all about the balance
Finding peace when tiredness soon arrives, 
The moments that will soon follow is a balance and aimed towards you, well, that shouldn’t come as a surprise.

It’s about balance
It’s about finding that discussion that interests you both
And not pushing boundaries too much, where you may fall out or perhaps won’t.

It’s about balance
The conversation that you are about to see, 
People have different temperaments, and striking that balance shall always be.

It’s about balance, 
Some can relate to others by thinking the same,
It’s about what you are passionate about?and be in a safe space where you don’t need to refrain.

It about balance and refuse the conversations that others instigate to rile your soul,
I pray to God all is well with each other, and that balance in your higher power takes ultimate control.

A poem for Matthew

​Hello you
How are you today? 
Are you still the centre of the universe? I am jesting….,these words are simply banter, that’s all.. wishing you a blessed day and remember God has a path where you have the option to stay.

Are you still acting like a child?
I suppose it refutes being a man at this time,
There is accountability for us all, your stories of the past are okay; but we remember the details do re-enter those you have told mind. 

I hope you have had a productive day
And you are a ‘l’ not  a ‘we’so create wonderful new stories that await,
It’s about growing into yourself with spiritual strength, that is a a worthy fate.

You have skills and talents, but you put yourself down, 
You say you are angry, but you have received loved from many around!
I suppose you need to find the man you are suppose to be,
As one day in heaven… you shall be free. 

I have been a friend but my time may end tomorrow, 
This is the truth my friend, so don’t treat this as sorrow. 

I don’t care about my age or what history I have caused, 
But you need to find acceptance in your own solutions.. don’t speak ill of others, that side of you may need to pause?

You are great my friend,
So be proud of who you are,
I, like you my friend… 
May you reach the picturesque of peace, a goal in itself Matthew my brother and one to lean on God’s teaching to comprehend.

The spirit of fellowship

​I am a kind of guy who wants to be ‘all in’.
But sometimes I lose my focus, which often leads to sin. 

But A.A. Is a champion
You shall meet light minded people who won’t judge and are able to support,
This is a blessing from God, the words I would like to retort. 

I have been blessed in fellowship, and that is okay….for today,
Today is all we can be promised, a mere moment which I hope pertained.

But moments are temporary and the work needs to continue regardless what others say,
Complacency doesn’t have a position, especially in the light of this message which A.A. aims to say.

We are here to save others who want to stop this awful disease, 
By the spiritual foundations of hope, be kind to yourself.. please..

​Time, places and situations
We are all learning this path we lead, 
Allow the God of your understanding to guide you in the places that you read.

Take your time,
Reflection is a beautiful place, 
Don’t stay there for too long, that may linger you delving into haste.

Be kind
Be gentle
Be loving and don’t centre all the issues about you, 
I can only help you a degree, 
it’s your higher power who humbles hearts in order to flee. 

The place you come from, you were made dearly after all,
We learn our way, ask questions to the right people on this path,
Remember a sound temperament through the higher power shall steer you at the point you are apart. 

Today you are here
Be grateful and be kind to the next person you see, 
Remember this world is damaged enough, let’s not continue that difficulty, it’s with God that you ought to be.
