Nothing is perfect

Embrace your imperfection, and it’s only appreciated when you fall time and time again,
The last time is when you seek for help higher than you,
There is a passage we all look to ensue.

I often laugh, turning dark humour into light,
Really my humour come from tragedy which I have faced,
I appear to overcome with a mask wanting to enter into another place.

You see people are who they are,
What works for one may not for the other,
You see I do care, but can I take the pain away?
The answer is not really, but I can be your friend just for today.

Today is all we have, I have said that time and time again,
We have all done garish things thought the pattern we are unable to defend.

People will support
And family sometimes help or won’t at all,
I have faced the latter, and believe me after my Dad died I was waiting to fall.

We are learning everyday
We are trying to be the best version we can be,
I won’t compare myself with anyone, I don’t care how great their life looks like, this mental health journey strangles and isn’t at all free.

So stay blessed,
Look towards your higher power for support,
And remember that this life is only temporary so fight to the end and avoid your mind to be fraught.
