Daily routine

​I wake up and I pray
I speak blessings on friends and those I do not know,
I thank God (or your higher power which is now called) for the air that I breathe
And that towards fellows today, whom I do not deceive.

I try to go right 
And don’t let others get to me, 
I know when I have my higher power inside my heart
And that I attend a A.A. Meeting which is refreshing and a healthy start.

I stay around positive people 
People who ask a balanced amount of questions, 
And if they get a response from my, then they are mighty lucky,
As it’s my higher power I answer too
if others are trying to rile… then my lips are sealed with spiritual glue. 

Meaning? I won’t say a word to keep others entertained
People lack patience these days, but by the grace of God there’s a reason why they have stayed.

I prefer to laugh, be a little light-minded
But others are caught in the news, so I stay well clear and blind-sided.

I know there are people who love me
As I love them too, 
I just pray to God for them and myself, as these are the things I do.
