The heat….

​Feeling the heat 
We are not use to it over here, 
People feeling the strain, 
Looking for cooler alternatives, not the heat from the bane. 

Feeling the heat, 
The thermostat of your heart is high, 
Learning to be calm, not to feel overwhelmed, 
The complaints don’t help, they make it worse
I rather stay in my lane… when others can pose a heated curse. 

The heat is strong 
We need light to pick up the mood, 
To stay focused is the plan, 
Pray for calm and splash the water on your face, 
It only takes 20 seconds, complaining has no place. 

The heat, and the fire
The want to feel better with the breeze attached, 
Praying for stillness and praying for peace
This heat won’t last forever
It’s just the here and now we have today…
heat will soon pass, so try focus and don’t allow others to be in charge, 
Therefore, focus on God first… by and large.
