Before I sleep at night

​Before I sleep at night
I say my prayers, and humble my heart before the light, 
So as I seek for hope and pray for family and friends
I know you are a powerful Father who always been there for us, and transcends. 

I pray for forgiveness 
And I pray for surrender, 
I know you are a merciful Father, despite how meek and tender. 

I prayer for guidance 
And I pray for a full nights rest, 
I pray for the night to protect and wake up to zest. 

I pray for people whom I am not fond of, 
I pray for the hope that I receive, 
I pray that today is a blessed day for all, and that negativity in any conversation leaves..
