Dear me…

​Dear me, what do you want today?
Not tomorrow or the day after that, just for today,
As what will make you happy right now?
Music? Love? Hope? Or laughter? I suppose we are all working this out
As we all questioning what the world is all about?

Dear me, I have fallen in love
A place I never thought I reach again, 
I am now overthinking, as apart from God: I now have a best friend.

Dear me, 
I sometimes thing I’ve been such a let down, as others not understanding what and who I am,
That can take you far away from human connection, 
We have all fallen short in this world, as there’s nothing that be seen as perfection.

Dear me, I thank God everyday for his kindness, love and hope 
I know this world still has to be managed as trust is the most difficult place to accept 
As the God we pray to each day, keeps fighting for us to be honest and reflective
As we each look at this world with open perspective.

Dear me,
I am so happy I have today to focus on, 
I don’t care about the weather, just pour cold water over yours and my head,
As I pray for each and every one of you, through the ‘dear me’ words that I have read instead.
