Annoyances

​I am Jason and I am an alcoholic 
I am no longer in the system to wanting to feel demonic,
I said no and did the work of the 12 steps,
I am looking for a new life as I am about to reset. 

You see I ignore
Remove ‘perhaps’ and ‘maybe’ from the mind, 
I rather not compare myself with others as I now choose for myself to be kind. 

I remove myself from questioning people, unless delivered in a calm way, 
it doesn’t matter now who has the final say.

I speak to my higher power in the morning, praying for gratitude, surrender and guidance,
I look for humility and live in my higher power, that’s my defiance.
