If we didn’t believe, where would we be?

​If we didn’t believe where would we be?
I know where I would be, looking for a fight and a place that gets me nowhere,
I am following the Lord, the hope, the glory that his son declared. 

If I didn’t believe, I would be angry and would lose many fights,
People would rile, take the p.ss, I would hit them back,
It’s the blood of the Lord that shall never allow you or myself to ever slack.

If I didn’t believe, I would continue to blame 
I need the Lord like food and water required that is required for the body, 
I do not want to walk down the ‘other’ path.. that would become shoddy.

If I didn’t believe, I know I would be dead, 
It’s only through his timing when he will take me and you home, 
I know it would be peaceful by the grace of God… as I have never felt alone.
