Who said this would be easy?

​Hi brother, this poem is written especially for you,
It doesn’t have all of the answers, just my perspective and the potential what to do.

You see I pray for you,
Why? because I want you to thrive and show your ultimate best, 
Yes, I am no further away from trouble 
Yet in life you can escalate problems by making them double. 

I have been there, 
I have been beaten, rejected a lot and didn’t know where to turn, 
Believe me Matthew you are a true champion, and one who knows how to discern.

I don’t have the answers, that’s left to your higher power
you say your prayers, I suggest for you  to start the day,
It only takes a minute and sets you on your way. 

Life wasn’t going to be easy
But you are figher and won’t give in, 
You will find solutions to never be alone
I know you man, you may have a whinge and a drone.

But you are great at what you do, 
Don’t take my words for it, people will always see you,
You see, I don’t seek compliments but this is one that you deserve
And that today is simply all we have, therefore humble hearts like yours shall discern.
