A Place of belonging

​In life we all need a base
Some people are emotionally intelligent and others do not relate. 

We have all faced some type of trauma, 
Things we can’t manage day to day,
But somehow we do pull through, as it’s only the higher power that has the final say. 

Some people want to cause chaos but still be the beckon of hope, 
They are the ones whom I am wary of, as I climb God’s perennial rope, 
You see, it’s about the heart and the action, some people don’t want you around
But hey, this is a life long lesson as you need your feet to stay on solid ground. 

People are generally good
And despite what they think of themselves, 
Some like a debate, those I steer well clear from and tell to f.ck off
That may sound harsh, but it’s my higher power whom I focus on and wish to bring aloft.
