Inventory (poem about 12 steps)

​Look at life and write an inventory like said in the ‘12 steps’,
This is a good way to reflect and reset. 

I tend to get stuck on step nine
Which is making amends and looking to refine. 

We can try our best,
But we have all made mistakes or hurt others, 
I simply say this ‘God bless you my sisters and brothers’. 

You write the errors on step 4
And sometimes you are facing what put you on that addictive floor, 
There’s making amends and recapturing what God gave you at the start,
So listen to your inventory, that’s where this slowness of thought begins
And searching for a victory which started initially as a sin.
