Don’t leave on bad terms

You leave this world the same way as you go in,
You avoid those you can’t be around that cause you to sin.

If others want a fight, let them…
You are here for today only
The rest is a bonus which you work through,
Leave on good term with all persons for whom you ensue.

This poem is therapy for others and me,
Like in the words of Muhammed Ali: “the hands can’t touch what the eyes cannot see”.

If others want a fight, let them try
The art is to keep trying, before the time God wants you to say your goodbyes.

So be at peace with all
And if you are not, that doesn’t mean it’s God you haven’t called.

All I want is to be left alone
And that’s okay for the heart to accept,
But it’s only when life continues to run,
Then take a step back and be with those who are actually fun.
