Addictions… one for the road.

​One for the road. 
That was the way it use to be, 
People meeting up through addictions, where they saw a crossroad they weren’t able to see. 

You see addictions is blind!
Some people can be in total control, 
We are blinded by the madness and didn’t want to take it slow.

I thought I was in control
And to be honest, my controlling ways was demonstrated time and time again
Today, I simply need to answer to God, and the  ‘12 step’ Big Blue book and my spiritual friend. 

I wanted chaos
I wanted the madness to match my mind,
it’s a bit like my weight lifting session, 
I would go for the heaviest and dangerous weight
as eventually there came a stand still.. where I was able to see.. and no longer debate.
