There is a way…

​You wondered how you got there in the first place,
Tracking your steps and went arse over face. 

But you are here, just for today,
Not sure where to turn at times as time always go away. 

Starting a new life
Trying to smile and look ahead,
You only have today my friend, these are the words I believe, written and will have read.

The time is here 
The present time where you are at, 
Hold onto this time and see what you will or shall progress to,
This is a prayerful moment, one for you and I to ensue.

There is a place to go in your heart….

​There is hope
You can’t see, or touch it
Perhaps at time you can’t feel it
Yet you find your inner sanctum that is lite.

Be kind 
Be loved
Be looking for hope in you and others, 
It’s not about ‘I’, it’s about ‘we’
Do not compare or feign to the cause
You are here to excel… not pause.

There is a positive from a negative
You may not see it yet, 
You have the potential to find a way through, 
And yes, you have tried, so much that you have rawness in your soul
But there is this thing ‘brush yourself down, and start again, 
There is a story awaiting fo you my humble friend.

There is love 
And love wins every time, 
Those who think anger is part of the story, 
It’s only the higher power that’s above you is allowed to release that side.. hence that part no longer needs to be haughty.

Surround yourself with love…

​There is a higher power
A higher power that loves you more than you ever come to understand, 
There is a beckon of hope in everyone… from a place I once trembled.. but now I can live in hope in the place I stand. 

I am here today,
What else can I ask?
I want my time with the Father in heaven, 
The one who never ever foresakes my feeling, 
Often I have faced consequences (like us), at a time I am reeling.

Keep away from s#it stirrers, 
Or give it to them right back!
I am quick of the mark with those conversations 
But I rather pray and discern, that quality I never want to retract. 

Today is a good day
Today I put myself around people I wanted to be around, 
Those who are negative, I suggest pray ‘afar’ and therefore distance yourself…. That’s the heavenly protection which I have found.

Night time prayer

​Dear Father thank you, as this day draws to a close 
I thank you for the challenges I encountered as through your son who died to us, I am able to remain composed.

Lord thank you for my friends, mum, dad, family and friends,
This world has your protection, from which I look upon and depend.

Lord thank you for the people that I have met,
And even those who rile me, those people I shall pray afar 
and acknowledge who they are.

Thank you for this sleep I am about to take,
May the protection guide me to see the next day,
As with your night protection I know I shall be okay.

Embrace

​It’s time to splash water on your face and see the light, 
Caught in a spreadsheet or a report to do, 
It’s your heart that you need your spirit to pursue! 

I’ve been there 
Deadlines, pressure and human demand, 
Wanting others to like us, you reach a stage when it matters no more,
Pray afar, there’s is a blessing there to hold onto the shore. 

Stay focused 
Stay humbled with the light,
Let others loudness take place, that’s none of your concern,
There are always moments when you are required to discern.

Look to the heavens 
Look to the stars that you shall see, 
A blessing grounds you to remain still and do nothing,
As in your higher power … you have plenty to bring.

The fighter in you

​peace and joy
That’s what we look to aim and strive;
Most of  are chaos, in a place wanting to become alive. 

I repeat, some of us are chaos
Nothing wrong with that… to a point,
It’s the higher power arriving to receive a blessed anoint. 

This is a blessing
A will to keep carrying on,
This life to seek hope and contentment,
Not this aim for resounding resentment!

You fight 
That is the ‘free will’ to gain, 
Pray like a warrior, words you shan’t refrain. 

Remember, this is love
And this is guidance for the day which lays ahead,
I pray for guidance for each and everyone of you 
God is omnipresent, and available to ensue.

Morning poem prayer (Prayer for Chris)

​Dear Lord
Thank you for this day
I surrender to you, as I know in my own I am able to stray,
I pray for love 
And I pray for guidance to be nice
I pray for a blessing and that I am able in all situations to always suffice. 

Dear Lord, 
I pray for this time that I spend with others, 
They are a blessing for me.. those of my sisters and brothers. 

I pray for learning
Guide me to what you want me to learn, 
I am able to stay still for a moment… and possess from that moment to discern.

I pray for surrender 
And and I pray for the light
I know you are in charge, and able to protect any spiritual fight. 

I pray for my protection, and living on my own too, 
This is a blessing passed on from a friend..one I can truly understand through you.
