Going it alone

​I am not scared anymore
It’s taken me over 50 years to understand that, 
Bit, beaten and brutally bruised
Strength in character.. the later life you shan’t lose. 

Born, exist, enjoy and lose the people you love, 
This world has so much potential to shine during times we are dull,
Pray through a lifted spirit which refutes any cause to lull. 

Be kind,
Be loved
Be humbled
We have all fallen down and stumbled. 

Life is about learning
Life is about being honest with you, 
life is not about ‘I’ 
So don’t be discouraged, are you ready to say goodbye?

Live for now
Live for this moment in time, 
Nothing wrong being scared
We spend most of our life undeclared.
