The champion regains after an enthralling win,
He wasn’t at his best, albeit the adversity faced
He’s manner of victory was still done with speed and a little bit of haste.
His fluidity is amazing
His grace is full of flair,
He was the best person to achieve the podium post
I gladly embrace his victory with this poetic toast.
He was class
He was brilliant,
He was stubborn and everso resilient.
Thank you God for this genius we have all come to love,
And Iam sure there’s other achievements to follow, but first the others need to ‘up their game’ in order to shove.
