​You learn from these conditions everyday
Diabetes and alcoholism, which I have been privy to endure
This passage of recovery is never ending as this journey will continue to overcome more. 

Drink, drugs and this auto immune disease
We learn to overcome, and it isn’t a breeze,
We know our own thoughts are not always good, 
We focus on our higher power, as we know the time we have left is limited and needs to be spent well
These poems are motivation, even towards myself, to live my best life that I am hoping to continually tell.

Life is a series of moments 
Nothing stays forever,
We seek and we shall find
The authorities out there are constantly overwhelmed and possibly blind.

Life is a journey 
We can’t refuse that moment we face, 
The tide with our own thoughts cause chaos in our head
I am praying for you my sweet friend, there shall be more words to touch the heart…which are always said.
