More resolve less to solve (Well done Jamie)

​Well done Jamie, 
You have made the 18 month mark, 
You have endured, fought and dutifully served 
You have focused, spoken and within your heart you have heard.

You have been loyal to a fault
and you are there for others, and through the 12 steps you been taught. 

Well done you
You have tried so hard to get to this place; 
Like you, we fought harder and harder 
It doesn’t matter that the past has done
You are here just for today.. and wonderfully won.

You serve and give it your all
And you serve some more, pick yourself up despite the fall.

None of us are perfect from this chaos we have created
this madness is like politics, it goes nowhere and what does it lead to? a place we have hated. 

That is drink and drugs for you, or call it what you will
You are a fighter my friend, and through the hope of belief in you and higher power… you have started this recovery to continued to have healed.
