The addict in me..

​You see my attention was ‘all or nothing’,
And the harsh truth you are actually deluded for thinking you’ll gain something.

Now, I write the words of boldness and not to offend,
These words written shall reach out to someone to protect and defend. 

An addict is ‘all out’
Life has hit a brick wall, people have hurt us with fickle remarks,
We just need to remember we need to focus on us on this new passage to embark.

To those who are suffering, 
This level of stress needs to be put right,
But you need to put in the work.. and that is the ultimate fight.

Don’t beat yourself up
Look to your higher power with a prayer each day,
May God hold onto you, and in the rooms you are able to stay.
