Thank you for a blessing.

​I use to here ‘you are here for a good time, not a long time’.
Words that are close to my heart, 
I, like us all, obvious statement shan’t depart.

In my day they called it ‘common sense’ 
Now they call it ‘accountability’ or ‘transparency’, 
Same feeling different words, 
Try to speak with intelligence, when really the latter disturbs. 

I am here today
And I am blessed to have these people around, 
They may annoy me, but I know I have a Father in Heaven who has put me on solid ground. 

You see, you aren’t brighter than me
Nor I am anymore brighter than you, 
If you ask questions to entice the mind, 
That’s great… now get a life.. and learn to be kind.
