Living for today…

​Living for today 
Shall never go away, 
We look for a minor win, 
When contentment is the aspiration within. 

Living for today is the focus before the fall, 
We look for today for a purpose, or never seek at all. 

We need to look at the positives 
We need to look wha we have right now, 
We need to focus on the light of day
And that the word ‘hope’ remains inside our hearts today. 

Therefore, living for today we should be thankful 
as it’s been promised way up high, 
Be kind to yourself and never look to say goodbye. 

I wanted my life to end when a relative close to me passed away
But I know by the grace of God, the Father wanted me to stay.
