Difficult, when rude people think it’s fun,
Deflecting waning decisions that need to run.
Is it a sport to be rude?
Is it nice to be horrible?
Won’t God disagree from the free will he offers
Yet you arrive to the situation where you ain’t bothered.
Kindness is politeness
None evasive, nor rude
Yet we live in times where it’s treated as a sport
Good manners is what we are taught.
I love the prayer
The words of kindness to those who dislike us exist,
Far more powerful to bring politeness to the fore,
Yet it’s Faith in God which reaches my core.
