Winning or losing?

​When do you win?
And when do you know when to lose?
Neither of them are far from one another, exhilaration on is.. and the other is facing the blues. 

We have all lost 
And many feel they are destined to win, 
Leaving your mark on this earth can be a victory, but also a sin.

Life is to live
As we reach a stage closer to death, 
Don’t worry, this isn’t a morbid poem, these are just opinions coming from the heart as well as the head.

Life is here today
As we are not guaranteed to always be around
But as long you find your higher power, or ‘God’ that I prefer to say
The hope internal is perennial as the spirit lives forever…. And that’s including today.
