I pray for… thee

​I pray for calm in a world full of noise
I pray for light when silence is my direction to poise. 

I pray for humility in world that goes at a frantic pace
I pray for others to endure but remain still when the hurt comes from haste.

I pray for friends when I see their health declining,
I pray for attainment when others are often subsiding.

I pray for calm when words don’t need to be mentioned,
I pray for a fallen world which is evident to see, 
And that staying is the remedy to be. 

I pray for the day when the heavens open to lead us to be free,
I pray that one day everyone receives a blessing which comes from God… so don’t thank me.
