I thank you Lord

​I thank you Lord… even when I am tired
I thank you Lord, when I am depleted and and appear admired..

I thank you Lord as the tears need to be released
I thank you Lord, you know when I am about to anger and you are able to tame my inner beast.

I thank you Lord 
As I struggle day to day,
I thank you Lord, I won’t let any f…ker get in the way.

I thank you Lord
As when I am with you, I am allowed to be me, 
I am not pretending anymore, hence why this act isn’t pretentious, therefore I know I am genuinely free.

I thank you Lord
You carried me through storms I never thought I could escape,
I thank you Lord, I am here today despite the arduous moments from a scrape.
