We all have something to contend with
Looking after myself through mellitus diabetes is a full time job in our attempts to continue to live.
The continuous waking up at night
And eating every ounce of carbs,
You won’t need your clock in the morning to set off your alarm.
Yet we fight every day
Keeping our bloods sugars under control, annd avoiding other annoyances along the way.
We fight with this every day
We try not to allow anything negative to stay.
Life is challenging enough
With obstacles to overcome with tenacity and wit,
So if people see me struggle, give me a sugar, this shall solve this latest episode of a hypo… can’t you see it?
